I think the tree lighting on the 29th is the one they'll be filming for the HCE special, and the 28th is the first official one with the Mayor. They light it up 4 times every Friday/Saturday from 6-9, and twice on Sunday. (I don't know about the rest of the week, when the Hallmark events aren't on.)

I haven't verified this myself, but I suspect they saved the dance for the extended cut on Hallmark+, because there were set photos of the dance and it seemed really odd not to include their biggest "bit."

Though Lacy is not currently listed as one of the stars that weekend, so maybe she's supposed to be a surprise, or they just haven't update the site.

It's really hard to be interested in Christmas movies before we've even had Halloween, much less Thanksgiving. The Royal Montana one bored me so much. Good kiss - terrible story.
