Logged into work tonight to news that the guy who was to replace me on third shift so I could move to second resigned abruptly. Meeting in the a.m. about the future and I'm just defeated. I was willing to take a pay cut to see my kids more and now that's in jeopardy.

Weekends when I don't have my kids get really lonely.
It usually doesn't bug me too much. But on occasion it's a very loud silence.

I'm not a fan of instant ramen. The most I'll use them for is toasting the dry noodles for salad toppings.
But, I've heard amazing things about Shin Ramyun Black and Buldak ramen. They're much more expensive. But I figured I'd try them because it's getting cold out and I want soup.

Say what you want about Pedro Pascal being in everything. He really does a good job at capturing the pathos of Reed Richards. Likewise, Vanessa Kirby as Sue. The glue that binds the team. Good casting.
Film itself feels really rushed. But it's not bad.

I admittedly didn't follow Mamdani's campaign very closely. - living in WI, we've got our own messes to clean up - . So I'm just now looking at a lot of the publicity work he did. Hitting the streets. Biking around the city. Talking to randoms.
