I don't know if I've ever felt this with multiplayer games (usually I lose interest after everyone in whatever friend group I joined with loses interest) but I've definitely felt it with singleplayer games which is in some ways even weirder

I remember playing an M&M's game for PC like 20-30 years ago and I thought that I had done something wrong or my computer was broken when the game had a bunch of bugs in it (including missing geometry, I think) because I wasn't used to the concept of software being badly made back then yet

You can get by 99% of the time with just the ping tool. Text or voice chat is for that remaining 1% of the time. Maybe even less than 1%.

The main gripe most people (me included) have with playing with randoms is that the game will give everybody different "next" missions and then you'll need to get new randoms for the next mission.
Playing with chat could avoid that, though, since they'd probably just want to stick with you.

I'm trying to think of any evidence that Luigi is anything other than sex-repulsed (or more accurately, "terrified") ace aro and haven't thought of any yet.

This sounds like the kind of question someone who wants to murder me and dissect me for parts would ask so I'm just gonna assume that that's what's going on if any job application I have to fill out has this on it.

And let the password manager come up with the passwords! Humans are notoriously bad at picking things randomly. The computer can do it much better.
