From way down town
My lord Shadeur Sanders holds onto the ball for a long time

Obviously he’s only just started his professional career, but that will need to be worked on (which I’m sure he is)

Andrew Van Ginkel is such a funny example of a very very good player who is beyond elite at one specific thing

Ravens may need to go hunting at receiver in the off-season

Not convinced Flowers can be their number one as they aim to contend again and Andrews is not what he was

If those two are your second and third WRs however, you’re in business

Allen and Burrow have clearly forgotten that fireworks night was over a month ago

Unbelievably good QB play on display

As a Jags fan, this is not how I want to win the most hyped regular season matchup against the Colts in my lifetime

Daniel Jones noooooooo

He was one of my favourite stories of the season

Absolutely gutting

The Sixers can be exceptionally disruptive on the perimeter with all the stamina and athleticism they have across the G/SF spots

Of course, the Bucks made it easy for them by having incredibly lax ball security

What I find the most painfully ironic about the Trump regime’s decision to throw all its allies under the bus is that it hasn’t done a single thing to disrupt the nascent authoritarian alliance forming against the US

Russia, China, North Korea, Iran and now India are closer than ever

You can basically copy-paste my thoughts on Cooper Flagg onto Matthew Schaefer

Unbelievably developed for his age, already making such good decisions about when to join the rush etc.

Did an excellent job on Marty Necas, which is a tough assignment for anyone

Very much Cooper Flagg-pilled after watching him play against the Heat last night

What I like is how disciplined he was in his shot selection already - not wasting possessions, not clogging up the offence

Looked several years older than he is

I just realised that Ben Shapiro/Steven Crowder/Matt Walsh perfectly fulfil the criteria for being a ‘bad actor’ in both senses of the phrase

Shame they used their creative failures to make the world less safe but still made me chuckle

Very fun game between the Blackhawks and Preds last night.

Nashville had a lot of success playing opportunistic offence and letting Chicago make mistakes for them to capitalise on, rather than risking exposing themselves by being super aggressive

Late career James Harden can single handedly shoot the Clippers to an undeserved win

Or just as likely shoot them out of a game for an undeserved loss

The Memphis Grizzlies have made the descent from exciting to depressing in what has be nearly a record time

Charlie McAvoy = certified good guy

Compelling case being made that the presidential pardon is a broken system that needs to be drastically curbed the next time non-criminals get into power
November 29, 2025 at 8:37 AM
I think at least one of Bryce Young’s INTs last night can be blamed entirely on his height

Big defenders were in his face as he was throwing over the middle and as a result he made an off target throw in a dangerous area
November 25, 2025 at 5:04 PM
What the hell is Brock Purdy doing??

Three interceptions from being overly aggressive and not putting enough power on the ball

The Detroit Lions remain NAILS

It is abundantly clear after the X fiasco today, and in fact has been abundantly clear since 2016, that American democracy has been completely hijacked by the most extreme of right wing bad actors
November 23, 2025 at 8:59 PM
Ravens may not make the playoffs if Hamilton has to miss significant time

Impossible to understate his importance to that defence
November 23, 2025 at 8:42 PM
I don’t think JJ McCarthy works for the Vikings timeline

He may get better, but he won’t do it in time for them to cash in on their window
November 23, 2025 at 8:05 PM
Thoughts on Hawks-Pels from last night:

1) the Pels are probably the worst finishing team in the league when Zion is out
2) the previous coaching staff did not do a good job - way to many late clock heaves and getting caught in transition
November 23, 2025 at 12:34 PM
Right now, I’d only say Hellebuyck, Vasilevskiy and Shesterkin have been clearly better than Lukas Dostal since the start of last season
