Don't get me wrong, if the personal value is given for me, I'm willing to pay for things, but with everything becoming a subscription, I have to pick my battles. I also do not want to complain about Verge going the paywall route, but if "the rules" become inconsistent, than I'm irritated and out :(

@theverge.com @reckless.bsky.social Weren't #News articles so far excluded from the paywall? It's probably the second or third time I run into a News-paywall, and would usually shrug it off, but if TheVerge becomes another minefield of where to click, it will likely move out of my bookmarks :/

Gosh, name and profile picture are amazing mate! Just consider when batch printing at that magnitude that the time increase is huge, and one unit with bad adhesion can ruin the rest. Maybe ad one layer of corner to corner paths for stabilisation

Edit: With happening I mean getting even the approval to be deployed/operate under the same standards here as a European business. I'm actually grateful for less breakneck speed and less FAFO on the cost of users well being. Downsides are a sense of stagnation, but life's still good :)

We can laugh about EU-norms for the curvature of a banana, but the regulation in place also prevent dumpsterfires like X/Grok from happening here. Open standards ensure transparent compliance with privacy and user rights. EU also pushed USB C on Apple to operate here. Two sides to a coin.

Some of the features they do not offer would require them to open the standard for other competitors here, which Aple does not want to comply with. So the just say it is forbidden by law instead of "We're unwilling to comply local regulations to deploy our services".
