The M is the sweet spot of user-experience and capability in most conditions for my preferences. The digital is better when it matters but not as fun. My Barnacks are more fun but not as reactive. A handful of other cameras are more useful in their narrow niches. Etc etc.

See alt-text but the 28mm is a Brightin Star (great little lens). The two Elmars are different FLs: 90mm and 135mm. Sticking with the Elmars for those means all four Leitz lenses take the same E39 filters for convenience.
