Jolly walk into the village today!
Crowley opted to have a lie-in, so I trundled my trolley along to haul home my "trophies."
Obtained makings for a shepherd's pie, called in at the library to arrange a book collection for the holiday season, and popped into the bakery for pain au chocolat.

A cat. Obviously. Standing there like it owned the place.

“Leave me alone!”

Neither of us were terribly peckish on the drive down to the cottage, so just motored through.
Later, I put together a very presentable pasta Primavera out of some bits and bobs we had left here, atop some fresh pappardelle. Bit of shaved parm and dinner was served.
