Remember that time Doctor Who had to fight against the Dr. Phils?

I am thinking it has to be body parts, Soylent Green style? Too obvious?

He's on Dr. Who though, isn't he?

I am hooked. Rhea Seehorn is such an amazing actor, she just commits 100% without it ever feeling forced. Amazing. Though I have to say, she's playing a REALLY challenging character in this series. I sometimes feel like the character is almost too unlikeable.

Oh boy, if only there really was Karma in the world.

It's almost as brilliant as wearing a cheap ass, ugly, red hat, with some generic font, and a meaningless slogan for people with cognitive impairment.

Phone grammar, sorry.

I'm a fan of your work Simon, twice the fan because of your support for Ukraine. Wishing you great success with this trip.

p.s. What you said recently on "the race" podcast, about Dorna being bad story tellers, is SO one the money! 100% And not just the riders, the teams! They need writers.

Hahahha, I hope things get better soon.
November 26, 2025 at 1:16 AM
That could be great, I sure hope it pays off.

Nah. Sprint is a different ball game. It's virtually the same thing as having a sprint race for marathon runners the day before the marathon. It's just increasing the rate of exhaustion and injury, and they are two totally different beasts when it comes to setup and tire choice.
November 26, 2025 at 1:02 AM
There are not "only" twice as many races, the number of weekends went up as well. So in addition to there being more race weekends, those are doubled up weekends now because of sprints. It's not like the racers learn a lot in a sprint either, it's usually a different tire, since it's a "sprint".

It's a lot of added risk for minimal reward. Sure, it's more racing for the fans, but it can be quite disastrous when the number of races is already going up on a regular basis.

Hope that's all it is. I get the impression he's reactive, and Liberty is making him dance by saying "What can we do to spice this shit up"... hope I'm wrong and it's just Carmelo being wacky.

Remember when there was at least the expectation of leadership, responsibility, accountability, integrity, let alone intelligence from the senior officials in these roles? Now it's like a call back to "America's Dumbest Criminals".
November 25, 2025 at 4:07 PM
Hehe, I was wondering what your take would be. It blew my mind, I thought it was April fools already. And is it my imagination, or is the liberty media thing starting to look like a swelling tidal wave? Rising up, while we all watch, soon to crash, wreak havoc, and then leave everything in ruins...

Yeah, that's pretty crooked. Their insurance covers that no matter what they say.
