Proud Father/Husband, Craft beer adventurer, #leafsforever. If you're not learning, your falling behind. Opinions vary, respect is constant.
A colleague of mine dropped by Merrorem brewing a few weeks back and picked up Ces Fremissiments DIPA. Melon, citrus, juicy and velvety smooth. Another slam dunk Double. 8.4 % abv. I drank all four and enjoyed every sip #craftbeer

I could have sworn I've reviewed this Blood Brothers Brewing White Stout. I guess I am guilty of being late to the party. Guilty Remnant is a clean vanilla latte inspired white stout, that is smooth and rich. I've had it several times, will have it again #craftbeer

Stop the Coffee Truck Ar Bru! This latte stout will make you slowly press the brakes as you indulge in a creamy mocha latte flavor profile that is mildly sweet but hits the Coffee mark. This was the clear winner in my visit and flight. #craftbeer

Dominion City and Old Flame Brewery got together to make an IPA. The result? What Remains. Confused? Palate sure wasn't, mango, pineapple, pine with a juicy mouthful. Very good collaboration IPA #CraftBeer

Chocolate coconut macaroons... a childhood favorite of mine. Moersleutel's Macaroon Machine Coconut Pastry Stout is a trip down memory lane, that balances rich chocolate, coconut in a smooth dessert stout. A very sneaky 10% abv. Try it ##craftbeer

Never a bad idea to try a new variation of this absolute Gem by Dominion City

Brewed with some added Motueka hops. Same citrus and hops balance you'd expect with some papaya undertones. I prefer the OG Sunsplit but perfection is hard to beat. This one's damn close #craftbeer

Not sure what a velvet bubble lord is, but this Flying Monkeys Brewing sour is quite good. Sweet and sour with heavy blueberry notes, Smooth. I'd have another of these #craftbeer

Tonight I chose a stout that is named after soul carrying hairless dog. Drool worthy Xoloveza Imperial Stout by Bellwoods Brewing. Rich cocoa, spice from the habanero, acidity softens with cinnamon that combines with cocoa that lingers. Rich, delicate, spiced & full. Great #craftbeer

Does a perfect Triple IPA exist? I can say it does thanks to Third Moon Brewing and their Triple Wither Without You. It's got the hop hit you'd expect from a triple, notes of grapefruit, dank undertones, citrus heavy and juicy. Full bodied, layered and strong (10.5%). 👌#CraftBeer

Almond Joy with More Coconut? Sounds like a nice chocolate treat. Except Counterpart Brewing melted that into their Roller Stout, and the flavours just hit. Smooth chocolate, almond and they absolutely nail the coconut balance. Lactose makes it smooth. Very cool #craftbeer

Nothing like a smooth well balanced WBA Stout on a cool winter night. Starling Whisky Barrel Aged stout is smooth as hell, packs a good whisky flavour that settles into a smooth roasty & creamy finish. Really enjoyed this one. I shared this #craftbeer and wish I didn't

While Mortals Dance in Defiance of the Dark, I dance in excitement of another @ThirdMoonBeer Winner. Dank, juicy, hoppy and mildly sweet. Hops linger a bit, and 8% ABV for this double. These folks do good IPAs, I won't dance around it ;) #CraftBeer

A leftover collab from my last stop in Milton and It Even Has a Watermark... Is the name. This double IPA is dank, piney hops, juicy mouthfeel and strong at 8%. The folks at Third Moon do it again. #craftbeer

8ieme Anniversaire on day 12 of the Advent Calendar. This double IPA by Brasserie du Bad Canada is fruit forward with notes of orange, citrus, peach and hops. 8 years of strong brews from this crew #craftbeer

Day 11 advent. Time for another Cold Bear Report. Having the Pop on Hops NEIPA with QC Hydra, Peacharine, Motueka & Motueka Hop Kief. Grapefruit, subtle peach, lime and full bodied flavour. Bright and lime finish makes this a smooth ride. I think my fav IPA from them #craftbeer

This is the advent Calendar that keeps on giving. Day 10 Blood Brothers Brewing, Days Eye IPA. Mango, grapefruit and subtle peach, piney but juicy. A very good IPA from a great brewery. One to try #craftbeer

Late day 8 of my Advent Calendar Beer today. New brewery for me with Brasserie Bad Bones. This double IPA is JUICY, grapefruit, subtle peach & a citrus blast, but some dank hops balances those fruit flavours. Very impressed. I will keep my eye out for these folks! #craftbeer

The perfect dessert beer? Does it exist. Yes and you might have to add an S to the word beer thanks to @ThirdMoonBeer Bestowed series. Oreo cookie, rich milk chocolate brownie, smooth mouth feel & sweetness is cut by an almost rum like booziness. Incredible, magic #craftbeer
December 9, 2025 at 4:18 AM
Soft spot for Third Moon Brewery, Bone tree and dank IPAs. The DDH Halloween 2025 version of the Bone Tree checks all the boxes. Dank, grapefruit, pine, creamy mouthfeel and a dry finish. Never a bad play to grab any variation of bone tree! That dark forest is bountiful #craftbeer

Friday. 5th day of Advent Calendar and it's a familiar brewery from up north! @46northbeer . Moo-town NEIPA. Pinneapple, dank creamy and hazy. This one is a winner in an Advent calendar or on a warm summer day (I miss those). 6.8% abv. Delicious #craftbeer

On the 4th day of Xmas, I gave to me (it was my day on the Advent). My contribution? Coffee Death Dealer Porter @ThirdMoonBeer

Rich, subtle dark chocolate, roasty and smooth. An anytime of the day kind of beer. 6.9% ABV #craftbeer

Well I got me a bit of a Beer legend today

Canning date is a bit older though. I'm gonna make it a mission to try this fresh. This one is smooth, grapefruit and pine. But descriptions say there are more layers.

I'll file this under to be determined, but even aged this is solid #craftbeer

No regrets. Only my 2nd @willibaldfarm brew but my f1st Advent calendar brew in 2025. Very interesting brew. Dank up front, followed by a resinous profile that is highlighted by orange and stone fruit. Hazy in the glass, creamy & 8.4% to boot. These Advent guys mean business #craftbeer
