the "protect women" transphobes claim an infiltration narrative so they particularly need cis lesbians to be hostile to trans women. their basis of being transphobic would crumble if people knew cis lesbians are in support of trans women

i think that a wedge between our communities was a desired effect but i also think it was to convince cishet people push for anti-trans legislation

i remember JKR spreading the propaganda that "all lesbians are TERFs" and even as people rightly canceled her many queer people latched on to the rhetoric to have a based way to be lesbophobic.
cishet men dominate the transphobia category but cis lesbians get the most flack, it's ridiculous

It’s distressing that the popular image of the TERF has created a broadly false association between women (especially queer women) and transphobia, when it should be seen primarily as a movement and bigotry of cishet reactionaries and mostly men at that.
