Shout out to @weratedogs.com who made a highly informative video for their large audience in response to the superbowl ad. 👏🏻

Korey the curler was more out of breath, and that’s not a knock on him. This was absolutely an insane show of stamina.

Time for my favorite repost: bsky.app/profile/norm...
I’ve said it before, will doubtless say it again: These folks are going to be permanently resentful because they’re seeking political power as a substitute for cultural power, and it’s never going to give them what they actually want.
I love how far afield this is from any problem government can address. “Now that Trump won people have to like and agree with me and not tell me I suck anymore.” bsky.app/profile/yash...

Haven’t they boycotted the nfl multiple times over the last decade? Thought sports and beer were for the libs now.

It’s interesting because the last few years I’ve been saying that women who are with awful men think all men are awful. They make sweeping statements about how “men blah blah blah”… meanwhile, those of us with good men are like “ummm”.

Feels like the task at hand is to wreck an American institution, while being in the President’s good graces. Seems like he’s succeeding at those.

Feel like the governor, labeled as a moderate, understands the moment we’re in. Wonder if that resume of hers is helping her assess the threat and act accordingly.

Basic functions of normal adults blow them away. Write a witty poster (yeah, we passed high school). Collected needed items (yeah, we live in a community). Care enough about your 5 year old neighbor getting kidnapped that you’d protest (yeah, I’m not a sociopath).

At least he can be proud he helped set American medical science and public health back a few decades.

Same way they always accuse protestors of all being paid. They can’t fathom standing for anything that isn’t just self interest.

There is a line in Hacks about some wealthy, terrible man from Deborah’s past where Ava asks her, “is he dead now?” and she responds something like ,”oh honey, men like that live to 200”. Really stuck with me.

Don’t even think Steelers fans want that to be the case.

How alpha male to be scared of moms in their 30s yelling at them.

Around 2018 a good friend said to me, “the best thing President Obama ever did for me was to allow me to forget he was president for days on end” and that really says a lot in a simple way.

It may be lost on some outsiders just how serious Philadelphia can take its birthplace of democracy roots when called on to do so.
