Bring back the campfire. Find a community, even if the community is only 4-5 friends. Give each other gifts, make each other laugh. Be cringe, be free. You can do all of this without plunking down $18.99 a month to watch a CG remake of Fox and the Hound.

Since then, I've been exclusively writing in an RP format with a tiny group of friends, and I've gotten more entertainment from swapping stories. I've gotten more meaningful joy and entertainment out of that than any "TV series" on streaming platforms this year.

Two years ago, I wrote a novel. I went through the hoops to get it published, but I was met with around 45 No's because it wasn't right for the market.
