But if you're someone like RFK who thinks the scientific establishment is out to get you, you can read stuff like that, know it's retracted, and feel persecuted instead.

All the studies in the world won't make you an expert if you own bias stands in your way.

THIS. I had to get a "new" one recently because my 5 year old one had a battery that only lasted half a day (it was the third replacement) and I'm STILL SALTY about it. I WANT a phone that lasts as long as my car!

We do note OWE companies infinite market growth!

I'm esp struck by the irony of claiming Claude is "one of the more ethical" LLMs....when it literally lost a lawsuit over stealing the work of writers. Writers like US.

Is this the 2025 version "I love TACOS and PIZZA! Teehee" as some sort of shorthand for suggesting that they have a fun personality?

I thought it was Hannah Moots...but her interview is on DNA...and this definitely was about chainmail, and supposed to be about Carthage, but you never quite got round to Carthage 😂

Who was it, and what is her paper? It was a fantastic interview!

I'm late to this, and tried hunting through the show and couldn't find this: You did a WONDERFUL interview with a historian, and I believe she wrote a whole huge paper on chainmail?

And you were going to have her on for a second interview. Did you ever? And is there a link to the paper?

OH WAIT I forgot aren't you like, living that freeze drying life now!?

The nearly presented sheet pan looks nice but reminds me of the NYT recipes where my Dad and I have a running joke about how long they're supposed to take.

Because I promise no recipe writer at the NYT has ever factored in the time of their sous chef.

1. I LOVE a budget meal.
2. Once a month? But...but the milk? Fruit? Is there...is there fruit.
3. All I can think is when she says she didn't stand in the kitchen or do any prep is....ok when did you chop those then?
