I think my oldest with two degrees will get replaced with AI in their job as a workplace environment behavioral improvement specialist. The next 10 years will be brutal on the existing workforce and folks won’t go back to college because of the cost.

I think AI will further discourage high schoolers from higher education because they don’t know if they will have a job when they graduate and then be stuck with crippling debt. There will be careers that will be AI proof for now, like physical trades. 3/

Larger colleges (mostly public) hike tuition and fees to pay for board members, university presidents, and football coaches. I am reading student athletic fees at some Div 1 schools are as high as $2000/yr. 2/

I think they are also rising because they finally opened the “dam.” Properties that would have gone into bank foreclosures were put on hold after Tyler v. Hennepin Cty so that mortgage companies could assess that ruling’s impact on legal proceedings and financial gain.
