It will cost the UK two experienced teachers because my husband won’t make it to ILR now. He’s due in 2026. We’ll both leave. 48 years teaching experience between us. And you’re right. We’re not risking staying under Reform

An explanatory “museum style” section off the main nave to add more detail about Bristol’s role in the slave trade. There may have been more but it’s been a couple of months and doing this from my v dodgy memory.

Sorry - I’ve only just seen your question. Briefly. Explanations of the life of enslavers buried there to explain what they did. A stained glass window that was a donation from an enslaver had an accompanying plaque explaining that and they have added a moving memorial to his victims.

I left the biggest voluntary donation ever at Bristol Cathedral a) because it was voluntary and b) they had the most gorgeous welcome message by the door. I loved my visit there and their whole approach to their slavery connections was just perfect
