Whether or not I buy Gen X depends on if the game is Switch 2 exclusive, because after Z-A I don’t think it’s worth spending that much money on the console and game combined just to see if they learned from their mistakes.

I got burnt so badly I didn’t even buy the DLC, and that’s literally just the post game locked behind a paywall.
Arceus didn’t do that, Hell even ORAS didn’t do that!
They had a good game here that made 2025 a bit brighter, but then they just completely ruined it for me…

Z-A’s biggest problem for me is that towards the end it feels like GameFreak just stopped caring.
The game was great but by the end the story actively insults X&Y, I got genuinely upset by choices characters made and how the Z-A Royale just devolved into a discount Gym Challenge.
