Fighting the good fight against all odds. And still waiting for that opportunity to “stop, drop and roll”
And I’m all for licenses and education, as long as we don’t put them out of reach for the people that need them most, those who can’t afford cars and use them as their primary for of transport.

I don’t go 28. I need a 750watt motor for the side of a mountain only available in class 3s. Here in Oregon, you have to be over 16 to ride any e-bike and you are then constrained to the rules of the road. Most streets with sharrows are 20mph. Bike lanes are 25 and bike paths have limits as well.

Regulation and space is the answer! E-bikes are not going anywhere and frankly they shouldn’t. They can replace car trips in so many ways when done safely. And 2nd, when riding with cars, throttles are crucial and make the rider safer to get up to speed quicker. Then you can peddle with traffic.

My house is up the side of a mountain. If I didn’t have a class 3, I wouldn’t ride because I wouldn’t be able to reasonably get home

Yes!! We bought our e-bikes from Pedego Indianapolis from our great friends Scott and Cathy! Even though we have moved to Oregon, I still call them for advice. Buy local!!

I mean it’s a 70-90 pound bike but yes, it is still a bike!

Not to me mention the privacy violations!

The absolute first thing we do after we win the midterms is massive court reform.

Gmail added a Manage Subscriptions feature. It’s collapsed in the left hand menu. You can unsubscribe from things in mass from there. It won’t clean what is already there but it will help keep it cleaner.

I can’t wait to see this piece of shit hang for his crimes against humanity.

Like everyone here, it’s hard to pick just one from childhood favorites to the adult books I love.

I have to go with Just Mercy by Bryan Stevenson. As a white girl, this book more than any other opened my eyes to the true injustices in our world and radicalized me into action. It broke my heart.

Are we all just ignoring Dodd-Frank’s provision maxing mortgage terms at 30 years??

MAGAs absolutely believe that ballroom is being gifted to Trump through donations and that it’s a good thing. 🙄

And they all should be in prison.

Do not cave!! You are winning the battle. This fight is too important in so many ways.

So he would give us money (like subsidies) to purchase healthcare from private companies (like insurance companies) on some sort of exchange? So he just reinvented the ACA?

California had a similar ruling that was stayed and overturned by the 9th circuit. This ruling was already stayed and will also be appealed to the 9th circuit. Hopefully it was written in such a way that it will be more difficult to overturn.

The legal term is “permanent injunction” vs the previous temporary injunction. But yes, the order specifically states that 1. If conditions on the ground change, the guard could be deployed and 2. She expects a higher court to set a specific standard for when state troops can be federalized
November 8, 2025 at 2:27 PM
Unfortunately it was immediately stayed and sent to the 9th circuit who has not shown itself to be a reasonable arbiter in these situations. So we wait…

I’m over in Jackson County and we read this earlier this week. It’s crazy and a perfect time for Dems to swoop In with organized community building!

This is not even a retention strategy that would hold up in a court of law and they are likely counting on that.

Well everywhere but here 🥹

In counties with a partisan election last night, 99.8% shifted towards Democrats. I mean, that seems significant to me. 🤷🏻‍♀️
