As a former Minnesotan, the racist tirade that came from the White House today makes me so sad I knew the Cedar Riverside neighborhood well and taught citizenship classes while my husband taught English classes to the Somali community. We were so blessed to work with such determined & kind people

I had to argue and Mom had to charm our way into convincing Maryland MVA into relenting and issuing the Real ID. It took multiple visits and HOURS of time to cut through red tape that’s clearly stickiest for women.

In Maryland, I took Mom to get her Real ID For 50+years she has interchangeably used her birth middle and her maiden name as a middle Sometimes she used both It was impossible to get the required documents w the same name listed Social Security sent a new card with one name on card & one in address

Without reading the article, I know it was a female reporter. His misogyny is one of his few reliable traits.

I have a LFL. I use it to donate books I’ve already read. Some take books. Others in my community add to it regularly. It’s pretty self-sustaining. If someone is needy & they take all the books to sell, I’ll happily refill the LFL! It’s there to build community in any way needed.

We keep our Little Library stocked with books, non-perishable food, and How to Report ICE zines. I’m happy for people to take any (all?) of it!! We donate these items to help people that want a new read, some food, some security, and added community. If items are resold, it’s not my business.

We had ICE at our little community public library last week. 😢 so I’ve been keeping a stock of your zines in the community resource flyer section of the public library. Just thought you’d like to know your zines out and about! I truly appreciate you making one for our area!!!
