100% yes — he’s so melancholy and weird in this movie, perfectly in line with his later work and also not shying away from some fucked up stuff in his beloved early work. Based on quotes from Twain it’s a more real representation of him than the “whimsical quirky writer” treatment he sometimes gets

To me it just sounds like more Non-art related devs who want more control over a creative vision, looking at slop a computer spits out and deciding "yeah this piece of plagiarism is what I want" rather than trusting an artist to improve upon their idea through collaboration.

The stupidest part of this -- and there are many stupid parts -- is... if they are using image generation they need to literally type a prompt that is pretty detailed for the world burning hallucinating plagiarism machine to function. So.... why not just give that prompt to an artist?

I think the lines could work if there was more weight in the figures and flexibility in the features or the gestures/body. It also feels less real the more realistic you make the figures/movements (without adding smears or a squash and stretch).

I think it's the eyes. Idk, something about them makes the faces on a whole feel a bit lacking in energy. It might just be their choices in the trailer, but facial expression on a whole are very minimal
