Ps I did the math, for Halloween I had 21 costumes this year, 44 usd total cost, and less than 1 pound of non recycled dumpster waste! And out of the 3 thrifted items, I used both shirts for three looks each and I ended up loving the cargo pants and I've been wearing them a lot!
The thrifted red shirt I looked up, a thread bare Amazon brand made into three looks Thrifted tagless mens shirt I bloodied up for three costumes, I did save it with my haunt clothes in storage.
