I noticed him on the sidelines in street clothes, but the starters stripped their gear quickly after they finish playing.

To be fair, Joe Thuney wasn't playing. I suspect the difference in OL play with him in there vs rookie Luke Newman woulf help vs Chris Jones.

Question, is sharing this at all the best indicator of what makes a good QB2?
I understand it's a solid statline and it's a good indicator of his command of the offense.

I argue he missed Smythe during his high quality 16 play 79yd drive.
He averaged 5.4yd/att and shouldn't get a 🤷🏼♂️ for his interception.
I'm just saying, we might be trying to build a trade market, but I don't think it exists.

Cole makes sense around midseason if the team is phasing him out and Loveland is taking the necessary steps forward.
DJ's contract doesn't really make sense.
Santos doesn't make sense to trade either. Teams will likely wait to see what K Chicago goes with and if Cairo does make the cut, then… 🤷🏼♂️
