Finished my first sewing project. Started with the solid pillow cases, then the duvet cover and then decided to make two more pillowcases with a cuff using the Charlie Brown fabric. Plenty of room for improvement, but I’m feeling pretty proud of myself right now.

So I recently took up sewing and this is my first project. Made several pillow cases using the Charlie Brown Christmas fabric, then decided to do a duvet cover. Lots of lessons learned but I’m mostly happy with it for being my first real project.

Tonight’s dish was beef stroganoff. This was one of the better dinners I’ve made. Totally worth the extra time and effort

This is my old clarinet from when I was in 5th grade and it was already used when I got it. Pads were totally dry rotted, so giving it a go at repairing it myself. Then I can practice along with my oldest son who just started this year (on a much newer clarinet I just got him)

Watched 1 episode of Yellowstone and this happened (I actually haven’t seen an episode but it’s definitely an aesthetic I like)

So I know it’s not as fancy as some of the other EVs but they had amazing lease deals to clear the lot and I really liked it when I drove it. Has more than enough range as a secondary car and for when I drive into the office.

In Mexico for the week with almost all the in-laws and kids. Rented this for the week to fit everyone. Definitely a different driving experience

Took and extra 2 years due to other issues but finally got my Road Glide. Can’t wait to get out for a longer ride to stretch its legs.

Before and after pics of our little Yamaha Blaster project quad. Engine was rebuilt a few months ago then we decided it deserved a new coat of paint to bring it out of the 90s. Just a test fitting to get an idea of how things would look.

After almost 15 years, a new stator and a rebuilt carburetor, it’s back up and running. And with a lot of cussing as well. Our Raptor 700s are definitely a lot more powerful but this 350 has a lot of torque to play with.

It’s been a while since I’ve been able to suit, but since it’s all “new” here, I guess I should participate in #fursuitfriday again. Enjoy some biker dog

Forgot how much fun quads are. Got our 700s running again and took them up to my in-laws. Younger family couldn’t resist and had to go down the road to see how fast they could get.
