Davis Mills has always been a solid backup QB. They still need a better offensive line and a better offensive coordinator. The game shouldn't have been this close.

If McCarthy was truly an "unsalvageable" player, then the #Vikings wouldn't be rolling him out there. He'd be benched like Kyler Murray was this year. To act like a small sample size of data that doesn't tell the whole story is "historically bad" is absurdly ignorant.
