I’ve been wanting to build a Threefold Signal Alt-Commander deck where the only non-three colored cards are these siccos- maybe this would be a good fit!

Ended up going 5th at the FF prerelease today- exhausted but feeling very content. Games were slugfests in the best ways. Turns out that when you spend a day with people that are excited about the same thing you are, you leave feeling good, weird

Finally, a GW based stew, splashing RB for removal, broodheart engine, & Samut. Deck felt really smooth- the lynx is as good as expected & even though had so little removal, I was able to break through stalls with pure muscle & life. Never had a chance to cast Agonosaur, though, which I p1p1’d 😩

A QD 7-1 with a very very grindy GB deck. Didn’t have much of any of the great GB cards, but the broodheart engine really put in work & gave me just enough staying power. Again, very lucky.

Next, after a bit of a drought after the last, I squeezed a 3-0 out of this rock. Truly just drew well & was able to have the right stuff at the right time. Barely any fixing, but Sunmare rarely sat in hand.

Been in a bit of slump, but I’ve done a bit of winning! 4 trophies:

First, BW Zombies/ Speed. Cursecloth Wrapping feels like such a powerhouse in the format, been lucky to get it a few times now & it always puts in work.

When Izzet really comes together, it feels really oppressive. Thunderhead Gunner in particular is such a great card- huge body, free discard, reach (?!), and they seem to fly around the table during the draft. Was also passed 2 Chariots for the extra spice.
