Because yes women are older, heavier & potentially sicker than before, but we had all of that in our high risk London hospital in the 90s, & a higher LSCS rate than 25% because of that, but we also had home births, & they felt safe. But then we had more staff. We knew each woman as per Cumberledge

Before I did midwifery training I worked as a nurse on renal dialysis and liver transplant units in the 90s.I remember being shocked by newly created direct entry midwives who knew little about diabetes monitoring or blood gasses. I wonder if the issue here is curriculum of direct entry midwifery?

I think actually customers got fined as they were asked to key in their car registration numbers but as the QR codes were fake, the customers got parking tickets

We had that happen here and scammers were covering the QR codes with counterfeit stickers and stealing money from their bank accounts.
