tbh, I think there is immense confusion! Unless the Labour Party comes out with clear communications and explains clearly to the public the difference, the benefits etc....this problem will continue and the party will suffer! fingers crossed they will learn to speak to the citizens very soon! 😆

While there's no direct path to fully rejoin the EU Customs Union, there are ongoing discussions/proposals for UK to join the Pan-Euro-Mediterranean (PEM) Convention, a customs area allowing common rules for tariff-free trade with Europe.
