I edited that part, though Ryan stretched the 4:3 footage to be 16:9, which upset me. For this part, he wanted me to “animate” himself hitting Jax, but I had difficulty pulling it off, which is why it’s off-screen.

I was there at that BronyCon the entire weekend. I never met Diaz, but I was near him and he was ranting about the “Lion King” remake to some people. I did, unfortunately, meet Star Giant as we were in line to meet Lauren Faust as well.

What bugs me is that Ryan then proceeded to stretch the 4:3 clip to fill the screen. That’s because any clip that isn’t 16:9 will have to be cropped or stretched, which is just visually disorienting. A real disrespect towards the filmmakers.
