A rather gruesome discovery when unpacking the Christmas ornaments this year.

Spotify suggested that I’m 74 years old. Granted, there’s a fair amount of Joni Mitchell in the mix but I think the culprit is the ambient “Calm My Dog” station we put on for Coco (pictured) when we leave the house. In reverse dog years that makes me about 11, I guess? #SpotifyWrapped #DogsofBluesky

It would be selfish of me to not share Coco spooning her lion stuffy. However, I’d be remiss if I didn’t also share that the lion has no face as Coco has chewed if off completely. It’s a complicated love.

The texture was a little off (a wee bit dense and sponge-y) but my first-ever attempt at a gluten-free soda bread was a success. Need to adjust the baking soda/baking powder amounts and up the sugar, but I'm thrilled with the result (recently cut out gluten and had very low expectations). ☘️

Yes, the lake is *really* that color and picturesque in person. Quite lovely too if you rent a kayak for a wee paddle as I did. Wasn't so wee after all thanks to the wind but I slept well that night!

Seeing faces in things is said to be linked to anxiety. I see faces everywhere but in most cases, I’m amused by it and not at all anxious. For example, when my dog’s backside looks like Snuffleupagus and just begs for a set of emoji eyes to be added… (Sorry, Coco!) #dogsky #dogsofbluesky
