This SSSI is a mosiac of calcareous grasslands, scrub & trees supporting 28 species of butterflies. Notability the Dark-green fritillary, Green Hairstreak, Grizzled Skipper, Dingy Skipper and Small Heath.

But don’t forget one of the most important factors - no artificial light! 💡 Your Moon Meadow only needs the light of the moon!

So what to plant in your Moon garden 🤔 Lady’s Bedstraw will bring in the Flame Shoulder, Common Carpet & Hummingbird Hawkmoths. While Fushias will attract Elephants! 🐘 😉
