Yeah I those were my thoughts. Even their website says, it can "generate grid-compliant AC power directly from the battery cells without an inverter." Maybe the fact that it's inverting each cell, rather than the bank, makes it more efficient? It's still an inverter.

Beautiful. We did the white-knuckle drive from Salerno last Summer, only to have to turn around because there was no parking. Next time, I'm taking a boat, haha.

You have to try Apes of the State, while you're at it. Headed by the crowd surfing woman in the video. Pipe Dream is one of my favourite albums. I would love to see them live.
