“If public safety is truly the goal, trust must be treated as essential. It is not optional. Enforcement without legitimacy does not create order. It creates resentment and instability.”
Here is the letter from a Minnesota police officer reflecting the values of law enforcement officers of integrity.

@schumer.senate.gov your job right now is simple: no Democratic votes on ANYTHING, zero cooperation with anything Republicans want until they impeach and remove Noem. Get it done!

Even if he was grazed by the vehicle it could not possibly have harmed him. If this man suffered internal bleeding then show us the medical records and legally grant a HIPAA waiver to everyone who cared for him to report his condition.

This must be emphasized: Good drove forward to escape a masked man trying to yank her from her car. SHE was the one acting in self-defense. And the investigators must consider the possibility that the 3 agents coordinated their attack to deliberately create the conditions for her murder.

What is infuriating me the most right now is just how easy it would be for Trump and anyone in this administration to actually do the right thing. They could simply say this officer was a renegade who broke their own rules and that is NOT how ICE is supposed to operate. It is that simple!!!

It is the duty of ALL law enforcement in every situation to be more restrained and to behave better than the people they have sworn to protect and defend. They also must be accountable to those people, by identifying themselves and their authority.

I think it is probably a bad idea to put clearly unhinged, angry psychopaths in federal law enforcement positions.

I believe that the man who murdered that woman in Minneapolis was an anomaly - a rogue actor who either lost control or was just waiting for an excuse to “send a message” like so many other armed psychopaths in America. I’m confident that the majority of ICE agents would never do what he did.

You can clearly see 15 seconds into this video that the agent was standing NEXT TO the vehicle and shot her through the driver side window. He was in absolutely no danger whatsoever. This is murder.

Jim Jordan and everyone else making up ex-post facto rationalizations for yet another unconstitutional military action need to just admit that “America First” actually just means whatever the fuck they feel like doing.

So the man who campaigned attacking Bush for starting forever wars, who claims to be the peace president, who’s life embodies unfettered capitalism with no guardrails and no concern for the consequences of corporate actions (unless it’s about DEI), and is guilty of many crimes in our nation…

I feel like "attention hacking" is most of politics now. The Minnesota aid fraud story is becoming a perfect example.

Recap: In 2022, the Biden DOJ filed the first charges against dozens of fraudsters, many of them Somali-American, who'd fleeced a state food aid program. (1/x)

So their whole defense for murdering those 2 people intentionally is that they were too lazy to send a boat to go save them before destroying the ship and the cargo.

Reminder: Hegseth has zero credibility after lying through his teeth about sharing war plans in a Signal chat. He should have been fired long ago. But only the decent honest people get fired in this administration.
"We've had lies and stonewalls before. One’s tempted to say first time tragedy, this time farce.

But war crimes aren’t a farce. Congress should investigate them. And a broader war—unjustified, unauthorized, unlawful—wouldn’t be a farce. Congress should stop it."

Let’s say it again. The shutdown fight proved that Republicans were willing to cause pain and suffering to millions of Americans just so they could claim victory. They refused to negotiate at every turn, shuffled money around for their preferred projects and violated the Hatch act repeatedly by…

Yes, I’m disappointed the Dems didn’t save health insurance, but they were never going to give in because this is what they wanted all along. At least they took away Mike Johnson’s excuse to block the Epstein files release. And refusing to end the filibuster was a small act of defiance. Small steps.
November 11, 2025 at 11:42 PM
Hey Republicans, your president wants you to know that you are all nothing without him. You cannot win elections unless he is also on the ballot. And even though you all have been blaming the shutdown on Democrats, it is in fact your fault. I hope this “truth” is all clear to you now.
“TRUMP WASN’T ON THE BALLOT, AND SHUTDOWN, WERE THE TWO REASONS THAT REPUBLICANS LOST ELECTIONS TONIGHT,” according to Pollsters.
November 5, 2025 at 6:44 PM
The “nuclear option” was always their plan. Their only goal is to crush the opposition and cement their power indefinitely. That was clear when McConnell refused to do his constitutional duty to fill a Supreme Court seat and it was all spelled out in Project 2025.
October 31, 2025 at 10:54 AM
It’s one thing to cut spending on federal programs for people in need with a slim majority of votes in Congress. It’s quite another to hold the entire country hostage to force the opposition party to vote for it. This shutdown is about one thing only: consolidating power to Trump and Republicans.
