AI wrote the story. That's why it's 3000 words long. The page ranking AI will ignore recipes with less words. The humans that did actual labor are not getting traffic because they can't write 50,000 words per hour to keep the scan bots' attention.

Demanding rightswould merely reset then slow the growth of AI. And probably would raise its dev cost a lot. Not really bad things.
The most obvious ethical thing to do is require rights to feed AI, But it won't happen because China and some other countries would certainly ignore it.
