Maybe other things. But using Linktree means that I don't have to worry about that in future, I can just change the link on there. I'm sure there are other alternatives. And I'd like to hear if there is some reason not to use Linktree.

Because I work etc I think I can pretty much maintain one place properly, and am clear that's no longer Medium, is maybe Substack (but reservations), and don't think a random individual website is the way to go. This might be an alternative.

The ethos of Opol I like and appreciate (no distraction, no like numbers, no ads, community-based and building, self-aware as niche/boutique), but for the same reason they don't give out any stats, so I have no idea what size it is and how well they are building an audience.
