So admitting using the Justice department against his enemies. Investigating any of these people puts him again in the middle of it. Who will be the first to say Trump was there with me? How will DOJ be able to keep his name out? Good luck with that.

Trying to get files released during the investigation and trial of Maxwell could have compromised that. Since trump former personal lawyer now deputy AG has arranged a sweet deal for Maxwell it seems like that didn't matter.

Calling it the Epstein story is so belittling to all the survivors. We don't know how many girls were involved, and it's their stories, their lives that deserve justice.
