We're pleased and proud to congratulate Baylor Ph.D. candidate Marcela Pfaff Nash, who is the recipient of a Graduate Women in NSF Fellowship and an NSF DDRIG, for her research on how changing ecological & economic conditions affect children’s energy absorption among the Ecuadorian Shuar.

Humongous congratulations to not one, not two, but THREE of our grad students — Anna Samsonov, Lizzy Kim, and Teddy Thum — for securing competitive Doctoral Dissertation Research awards from the NSF Biological Anthropology.

We are lucky to have such exceptional grads.

Many congratulations to Baylor's own Julie Hoggarth who has been named a fellow of the AAS for major research contributions improving our understanding of the linkages among demography, climate, environmental change, and Maya history.
