I doubt it. This Court has made clear its bias. They’ll distinguish their decision in this case from that of the California case. It doesn’t need to be rational.

Retraining a workforce, especially when their trainers are on strike, it a slow process. How quickly they can train depends on the industry, job, location, and current economic conditions. Companies have more leverage when unemployment is high, and less in a tight labor market.

An NDA that prohibits discussion of illegal acts to authorities is void and unenforceable. Not saying the administration wouldn’t try, but the courts shouldn’t support their illegal activities.

This doesn’t make sense. “Real wages” account for inflation (increases in housing/car insurance, etc.). As long as real wages are going up, people are doing better.

Many unions don’t want mandatory interest arbitration for collective bargaining agreements. If they have bargaining power, they will achieve more by threatening (or actually conducting) a strike.

No way to opt out of receiving text messages from current and future Dem candidates…
I stopped donating through ActBlue a decade ago because of this. I STILL continue to get text messages asking for donations from candidates I’ve never heard of on the other side of the country.

Yes, I’m aware the rate increased this year. It was $50 million as of last year. The economics of the WNBA have definitely improved. I agree the players should earn more. But they shouldn’t have pay parity with the NBA (of now or the 90s). They don’t have the same level of interest.

The WNBA expansion fee as of 2024 was $50 million. Maybe we’ll see increased player salaries after the new collective bargaining agreement is finalized. I’m sure there will be a boost, but nowhere near NBA salaries (even 90s salaries).

The average WNBA franchise is valued at about $270 million (in today’s dollars). The Knicks sold for $1.1 billion in 1997 (over $2 billion when adjusted for inflation).

How many Pippen, Rodman, and Jordan jerseys did you see in the 90s? How many Clark jerseys do you see now? Not even close.
