… I kind of liked how over the top he was, but his scenes were very inconsistent. Not sure if that was him or the director.

I’d be doing that on purpose. With a group of friends.
Everybody gets at least 10 unpriced comics and rejects each and every one.
And then explain that they wouldn’t have wasted their time if they knew the price upfront, and then leave them to put the comics back on the shelf.

As far as I understand it's a setting to put acceleration, top speed, etc. at the maximum, ignoring range or battery conservation.
My only concern with it, as with FSD, is that it's available on public roads. (And yes, I feel the same about supercars.)
