when my last dog Bo died in lockdown, I didn’t think I’d ever have room enough in my house - or my heart - for another hound. but if this year has taught me anything, it’s that love often arrives when we least expect it, and that it’s a risk worth taking again and again.

deeply saddened at the passing of Maria Berry AM today. she was a fierce advocate for women in football, a founding member of Women Onside, and a passionate voice for fans right to the end. I hope FA considers her for Hall Of Fame honours this year. rest in power, Maria ✊
