Professional figure painter (for hire! Contact via DM/e-mail!) in Vienna, Austria. Wargamer. I like liking things, but don't tell anyone.
Lion Rampant had example lists in the back for "Old-School Fantasy" armies, good and evil (with extra victory points for armies consisting of only 70s/80s figures ;) ). Evil army was a mix of undead, orcs and trolls.

'flood the discourse with rubbish', isn't it?

🔨🐙🔨 Now that's a strong sequel if I ever heard one.

The 'new project idea' was 'get a new Warhammer army'? 🤡

They probably hired some consultant on how to set up their subscription thing or some 'business leader' is doing that, so they thought they had to do it that way as well.

Quite true. This is what's so lovely so and so substantially important about GDPR - it's an all-important basis for building up on it. Like DMA/DSA. All we have to do is execute them properly and never ever dillute them to appease tech bros.

Last sentence is my sad catchphrase at every party I throw.... :/

That aside, a pulpy zombie collection is fun. And so very possible nowadays with all these plastic kits.

Classic evil fantasy army. Excellent. 👍

Great thing the EU could pull off, even though it would lead to the typical, small 'oooh, that EU makes it all so difficult!' moaning each time people have to renew. Because on a national level, that's something a small country couldn't pull off sadly.

Oh yeah, I'm a big fan of "opt-in" anything, and it would be a great way to keep the increasing tendency of lame companies to go towards subscription models.

On this specific case (and I'm not fond of 'playing that card', but.....): I heard it's increasingly common especially among younger folk to just be scared of 'official' phone calls. One might say it's a good occasion to face that fear, but mainly it feels just extra-scummy behavior of the company.

That's one of the things that irk me about subscriptions - it's based on the seller's hope that you don't use it, but for various reasons (politeness or others) don't cancel. Which doesn't sound like a very useful basis for a trade between people.

The 'shades' are rather heavy I found, so feel free to water them down a little.

I like them.

I have. They're good. As with all paints sets - if you already have recipes for certain colours less so, but especially beginners will appreciate these triads. The paints themselves seem OK, but certainly nothing ground-breaking. It's paints sets for people who like to have pre-packaged solutions.

Now that looks great. Great stuff, well done.

Very cool. Blew the roof off the log cabin, so to speak! :)

Lovely stuff indeed. Maybe the perrys awi civilians are also worth a look?

I blame Black Hussar for my soft spot for field bakeries. They got some glorious diorama sets for those. And it's just a cool thing to observe through the ages.
