Last night #SB3 was passed in the Senate! This bill would establish the Silver State General Assistance Program to ensure that Nevadans wouldn't have to go without SNAP during a government shutdown. Thank you, Senate Majority Leader Nicole Cannizzaro for bringing this measure forward. #NVLeg

Families in Nevada are going to starve because of Trump’s cuts to SNAP, and instead of protecting them, Gov. Joe Lombardo has used every excuse not to use emergency funds to keep SNAP going.
