"Vagabond" painting by the divine Remedios Varo. It's a Surrealist medieval Baba Yaga clock wheel house man with a cat and plants. Maybe. I think this wound up in the "comics" folder because he's on a yellow road winding through a forest and it was part of my visual promptings for Oz scenes in Dorothy. I wanted to push the ineffable magickscience aspects as far as we could to make up for the detail rapidly dropped out of the CGI and photos as deadlines receded in the howling mist. Another Remedios Varo painting used to inspire the artists and others working on our Oz comic, probably. One of her majesty's many "ambiguous wizard figure at a desk" works, this one is called "Disobedient Plant". Tilda Swinton as Harpo Marx as Botanist. Grow beakers and coral hairs in a golden moss on an egg. That's my philosophy, Marty.
