I don’t know how it came across on the telly but I thought we were fantastic. We do get up for the big games and unfortunately in Moisés’ case a bit too much. If that stays 11 vs 11 I think we win.

Don’t think Maresca should full turtle here. Lot of Arsenal bookings, hope you can go 10v10 with some transitions.

I worried about that challenge live. The player we couldn’t afford to lose as well.

That Lucas Paqueta red card (two yellows for dissent) is one of those moments where everyone will just think he definitely was match fixing (and may still be). It’s a ridiculous red card.

Goes without saying that I’m not confident about today. They defend really well and barely give big chances, and they can hurt you the other way. Eze in particular is someone who has played well against us consistently.

If we are going to play a side from Asia at the current time we needed to play Japan who would have given us a real test. I know China are Asian Champions but they won that a year before we beat them 6-1 at the World Cup.

Hoping an honourable defeat for Leeds keeps Daniel Farke there for at least our game

Arsenal are clearly the best team in Europe right now (hoping that they aren’t in April/May 2026). Less than 1 xGA to a side who had won every game and scored at least twice in those games.

The thing with BlueSky is you don’t get the stuff that happened in Newcastle’s away end last night on here.

I think this is not a good move from the leagues perspective in terms of interest in the competition, but I personally am completely indifferent to both League Cups and unless we lose the final or to a big rival I don’t particularly care when we go out. x.com/womenssport/...
