Kurt didn't know that he was training Alpha Company to be suicide troops. He poured everything he had into training them to surpass the IIs, and he succeeded.
Once he saw the footage of them all dying on Operation PROMETHEUS, all he could think was "I didn't prepare them enough"

I'm using the now deprecated Compositor Pro addon, but you can do this with the regular glare nodes. Take the raw bloom/streak outputs, use a mix node to add them together, and then add them in to the main image for better control over each individual effect.

I don't even deliberately try to make Spartans huge, I just put very average height Spartans (Valentine is 7'1" in armor) next to average height people (she's 5'5") and this just happens
