Having back surgery tomorrow morning.
I have the same condition as David Wright, spinal stenosis.
All prayers and healing thoughts welcomed.

Heavy emphasis on power, little on defense.
Seems like the type of players that often end up with smaller/shorter contracts have been more proactive this year.

I support Katia Lindor 100% in working for Mayor Mamdani.
I support Francisco Lindor to be captain of the Mets.

Polanco was a shortstop. If you can play SS in #MLB, and you're not too short (hey Freddy Patek), you can play 1B well.
The question about Polanco will be how much offense he, and the players they still add, can provide.
I guarantee he will be a better 1B than Alonso.
If the Mets plan to sign cheaper and/or short-term position players to not block Benge, Wiliams, Clifford, and Ewing, etc., you have to look at the overall performance of the Baby Mets.
Not one of Alvarez, Baty, Vientos, or Mauricio has proven to be a better-than-average player.

Mets seem to be most comfortable with SPs who have 1-3 years left on their contracts and won't require any of their top 5 prospects.
SD wants to cut payroll and stay competitive, so MLB-ready prospects/current players.

Dear Mr. Sny,
Have you perchance tied up cable and streaming rights fees to share your precious Mets with us?
Something or other here about an informed consumer who is not interested in subscribing to ESPN's stand alone service unless I can watch all of your programming.

Mets need pitchers like Framber Valdez and Mitch Keller.
What they have in common in durability.
I agree with their plans to show Senga, Nimmo, McNeil, Acuña, and Vientos, depending on the return of course.
If they trade Senga, they need to add 2 top 2 SPs and mid-level like Keller.

The movies conveniently remove 1 of the major themes of the book: the abuses caused by religion.
The movies do include some of the corrupt political aspects of the book, but not nearly to the degree it could have.

I've read lots of good suggestions on FAs and trades to uograde Mets rotation.
I keep coming back to the move that will involve a short term contract and no loss of top prospects.
Trade for Jacob deGrom and take on his salary. Shouldn't have to give up much.

I was researching the Japanese players who will be posted this year and noticed that Okamoto and Murakami have the exact same 2026 projections in ave/obp/slg.
Is that right?

Hey, Darragh.
Great podcast!
Question: wouldn't it be useful to adjust WAR based on batting order spot?
For example, Nick Allen should have more of his WAR based on his excellent SS defense, and less on his poor offense from the 9th batting order spot?
And vice versa.
