the last time a World Series game was played at SkyDome in Toronto, it was in 1993 against the Phillies and their catcher was Darren Daulton. Later, his Phillies teammate, Gary Varsho, named his son after Daulton, and Daulton Varsho just homered for the Blue Jays at SkyDome in the World Series

Looks as though Kirk is going to be coming out of the game.

As Buck is saying on the broadcast, this is a terrific evolution in the game as opposed to the "he got his bell rung, he'll be fine" of the old days.

Hopefully Kirk isn't concussed. #Bluejays

Dear Friends and Colleagues:

I write with great sadness to say that I have had to change my travel plans and will not be able to join you for the conference to which you had so kindly invited me. I will unfortunately be cancelling all planned visits to the USA. /1

Today is the last day for the Blue Jays to extend Vladimir Guerrero Jr.

Any extension would be the biggest contract in Blue Jays franchise history, and one of the biggest in MLB history. If there's no extension by tonight, he'll hit free agency after the season at age 26.
