What if SwiftUI isn't "modern MVVM" but actually original MVC and brought us back to 1979 Xerox PARC? 😂

@Published = 1979 `changed` message
@StateObject = 1979 dependency registration

Did we really go full circle in software architecture without noticing?

Here's the kicker: Original MVC (1979) is COMPLETELY different from what we know today.

❌ Controller was NOT a mediator between View and Model
✅ View directly observes Model changes
✅ Model manipulated by Controller
✅ Direct Model-View connection via Observer pattern

I'm curious whether this archaism from the 80s (yes, yes, my era) will fade into memory - and we'll focus on caring for the process, on what we actually do every day, understanding what drives us.

I'm curious whether the businesses of the future, shaped by young people, will finally reject the rigid concept of goals, even SMART goals, detached from each of our internal value systems.

How important habits are, the ability to shape them, which is a process in itself - and this applies to individuals, the education system, but equally to teams/companies, meaning business in the broadest sense.

In any case, it was interesting - finally someone is teaching kids that the process is important, not just setting goals - in fact, the latter really don't have much significance.

(I've been reading too many 'news' stories lately and unintentionally spent an hour scrolling through LinkedIn yesterday).

are following and learning from the world around us, simultaneously evolving with it - and fortunately (at least in my son's school's case), they're not following pop science or the bullshit that's spilling out from left and right.

Good!!! Enough of this miserable game for today, time to start respecting myself. So... 3 breaths... slowing down... AI switch off and back to using my own brain. Let's not let ourselves go crazy.

I don't even see the problem in AI taking our jobs, it's that something is taking away the pleasure of the creative process.

If you need a pleasant state, it would be more effective to simply go to sleep instead :-)

Namaste!!! 🙏

... which generates craving and actually contradicts meditation per se.

Meditate, my friends, to train your attention, to train your brain, to develop "mental muscle", to work on yourself rather than expecting a pleasant state.

It has little to do with how people try to sell it - as a remedy for anxiety, stress, help you focus, calm, etc. All of these are, at best, side effects, and expecting such results from meditation is nothing more than building attachment to outcomes...

Folk wisdom is still valuable 😀 “sleep on it” has been with us at least since the 16th century".
