What an interesting return to original games for the series, taking it in a new direction while still retaining the tone of the past games. While the combat encounters got in the way of my enjoyment a bit, I had a great time with it. Wish the first ending felt a little more complete.

It was fucking awesome. The Austin Film Society was doing a John Woo series, and I knew I could only make one of them, so I picked Hard Boiled.

If I could get the controller to work better on the Steam Deck, I would never play anything else.
