So dang close. Just can't get these last nuts on that secure the globe to the inner shaft :( any more advice would be appreciated! Currently our next plan to try is newer nuts and some lube (giggity)

Judge Dredd pinball update!
Good lordy getting this assembly out wasn't the easiest and took a lot of fiddling but I was able to move the plastic and get it out :3 installed the new motor and gear box onto the assembly as well!

Unfortunately the Deadworld motor/gearbox assembly couldn't survive transport - think it was it's time to go anyhow.. got a new one coming soon hopefully the swap won't be too tough!

Used this magic stuff called RapidTac and the adhesive came off very easily with that plus spot cleaning with alcohol and q tips :3 highly recommended! Unfortunately I lost some insert decals but I'll be remaking those ^^ will update this big ol thread when I'm done!

Whole lotta hair dryer action and slow extremely careful peeling back but we got there :3 next had to remove all the leftover adhesive glue

Oh lordy I forgot to update this thread with my mylar removal project xP had this old factory installed protective mylar on the game that was coming up a bit and looking gross. Saw the back of the playfield didn't have it at all, so I figured let's just remove it and replace with a full protector!

If anyone out there can help me color grade this scan to look closer to actual colors please lemme know! Also gonna try calibrating the scanner on a gray color to see if that helps...

Forgot to post but I finished my mylar removal project and Dude is looking gorgeous :3 gotta fix and or remake a couple insert decals but no big deal I don't think. Wish I could get better playfield scans tho my scanner can't handle all the color xP

Second issue is cabinet decals are kinda effed up due to no cabinet protectors being installed :( I think I'll fix this with a combination of razor blade cleanup, paint touchups, and glueing down the remaining decals under a big colorful cabinet protector www.pinballlife.com/pinguard-cab...

First issue was unfortunately this plastic piece got blown to smithereens in shipping, possibly due to balls being in the playfield during shipping... But was able to fix it up with a new plastic sent by a super rad guy on Pinside :3 and got a shooter lane plastic to boot!
