I agree but he’s a crafty scumbag, he knows there is a large number of voters who’ll go along with whatever racist politicians and media are telling them, he just doesn’t want to scare the horses at this point

Exactly, this is why he’s dancing around the accusations, he has to appear sufficiently racist for his base and not *too* racist for prospective voters.
