I'm probably hiking or exploring the world with my dog right now.
From the Coalition to Protect America's National Parks.

These incredibly brave, selfless, and caring advocates for our public land wrote this letter to Doug Bergum to close the national parks during this government shut down.

This keeps echoing in my mind, thinking about people "dancing" for ICE, falling for the lies.

"And now you steal [them] away
Take him out today
Nice work you do
You're gonna go far kid.

...Now dance ****er dance, man he never had a chance and Noone even knew it was really only you"

Favorite capture during my weekend in Boston.

The USS Constitution, also known as old ironsides. She stands strong in Boston along the freedom trail.

Even when the world feels black, white or gray; there is beauty all around us in every way.
April 30, 2025 at 1:06 AM
This earth day, remember that our home is full of life and beauty that constantly surrounds us.

Today, search for beautiful life around you and hold it all close to your heart. The more we love this beautiful place, the harder we will fight to protect her.

Listen my children and you shall hear...

250 years ago, the shot heard around the world fired and the American Revolution began.

Today I fight peacefully for freedom, with photo reminders that this country is beautiful, and our lands must remain protected.

Mount Rainier through the Goat Rocks Wilderness in Washington, along the pacific crest trail.

I will summit Rainier, one day. It will be tough, and tiring and take more grit than I think I have in me. Mountains are tough- the journey is hard. If you stay strong, you'll get to the top.

The greatest joys are those shared with your best friend.

Most of our joy is outside, exploring together.

These spaces must stay protected.

When you're almost to Yellowstone National Park and the open road is beckoning!

Public lands go beyond preserving trees - they also protect our histories.

Today we explore the islands in Maine and enjoy the hike to Kennebec River. Yesterday, families grew up protecting the sailors who navigated thru this dangerous river.

A reminder that National Park protection is a world wide phenomenon.

Thanks to those globally who stand with the people in America who advocate for our rights.

This land is OUR land, to protect and to cherish.

The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone at sunrise, captured shortly after I had lost my traveling home to wildfires. In chaos, you can find peace. Sometimes you just have to wake up early and hike to it.

A photo every day until our wild spaces are protected.

Climbing mountains is hard. The terrain can be difficult, temperatures uncomfortable, and the thin air hard to breathe. It is through the challenge though, that we can find peace.

One drop of water falling from above makes a small impact.

A gathering of water falling from above creates beauty, movement and can shape the earth.

The Oregon Coast is known for its rocky shores and staggering sunsets.

But did you know its importance for environmental conservation?

Marine protected areas, estuary development, salmon protections and climate change tracking all contribute to keeping this beautiful coast alive.

A photo a day for our public lands. Today's reflects courage, to those who find "good trouble" in advocacy.

Courage can look like summiting Angels Landing in the snow, or holding a poster on April 5, or having hard conversations- stay strong.

A captured moment of a challenging time on the Pacific Crest Trail, as it's been a challenging week.

The PCT is a 2,600 mile long trail stretching from Mexico - Canada. Climate change is a primary barrier to being able to thru hike this trail today.
